We recently had the pleasure of photographing the new Gum Springs branch of the Loudoun County Public Library before its grand opening. In addition to the wonderful smell of fresh, new books, the new library location offers fantastic spaces for kids and teens, computer access, and meeting spaces in a new building that is both functional and beautiful. We encourage all our Loudoun County friends to visit. Maybe you’ll even want to join the FROGS.

We’ve decided to ring in the new year with a wonderful country estate we photographed for Cricket Bedford of Thomas & Talbot Real Estate. This single family home features beautiful, exposed-wood beams, gorgeous grounds, and fantastic mountain views. Shot on a gorgeous, sunny day, these photos make us yearn for spring.

This month’s project is a fabulous new estate in Northern Virginia. This 16,500 square foot home was a GALA Award winner for Luxury Living, LLC’s design and for builder, The Building Group. The exquisite luxury finishes and tremendous attention to detail, made this a lot of fun for us.

Everybody has been asking about our vacation to Alaska. Now that we’re finally catching up from taking a two-week vacation, we just have to share. These snapshots were taken by Bob, except for those in which he appears, using an amateur camera.
As the old rhyme goes, April showers bring May flowers. While Mayflowers bring Pilgrims, May flowers bring landscape photography. Instead of a single project for this month’s blog, we decided it was time to bring out several landscape shots we enjoy. It is the season, after all.

Although we’re more than a bit tardy with the latest blog post, this project is worth the wait. This private residence in Northern Virginia underwent a complete home renovation. The results are simply stunning, including beautiful moldings and built-ins, a gorgeous master bath, plus an exquisite wine cellar.
